CN's MV Confederation was a passenger car and truck ferry.....no railcars. In 1975 it went to Northumberland Ferries Ltd. at the eastern end of PEI for the run between Wood Islands and Caribou, Nova Scotia. In 1993 it was replace by the new Confederation on that run and was sold to become the 'Nordik Passeur' for service on Quebec's Lower North Shore....then scrapped in 2007.

Here's NFL's Confederation today, The other ferry on the run was a a former CN vessel also.....the Holiday Island.

And the 9 mile Confederation Bridge between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island that replaced the former CN Ferries in 1997.
