Canadian Railroads > Switcher Saturday MLW S-12

I never got to see MLW S-12's running. These 539 powered switchers were superceded by the 251 powered S-13. So the only S-12's I got were stored in Toronto, I believe these were originally assigned to Moncton. Photographed with permission at Mac yard in Toronto in 1983.

Similar in appearance to the S-13, the spotting feature was the stack close to the cab; on S-13's they're at the other end of the hood.
