I don't remember when exactly the VIA shop was completed at the Pointe. It's possible that minor work, fuel or inspections were being done at Taschereau. Brian N. The Montreal Maintenance Center open in April of 1983. 3113 was one on CN's RS-18s geared for 80 mph, equipped with a steam line but no steam generator so could be used in passenger service.
