Canadian Railroads > Ocean 2007

I started shooting digital in 2006, finally giving up slide film but with some regret. Kodachrome had gotten very expensive by that point.

Here's the Ocean arriving from Halifaz and about to cross the Voictoria Bridge and on to Central Station in Montreal. July 2007

The quality of some of the early digital images is surprisingly good as your prove. Well done.

The train must be on the shoo-fly to the second lift bridge, is it?  I don't think I've ever been on the train when it took that route, but I seem to take the Ocean in the winter mostly, when the Seaway is closed.

And I think that is the combined Ocean/Chaleur.  The Ocean was all-Renaissance by 2007, at least in the warmer months.

Yes, common occurence in the summer as boats go through the St Lambert lock.

The consist was all rennaisance except for the first two cars and the Park obs bringing up the rear
