On Friday, though, a VIA train departed Vancouver for Toronto, VIA #12 was an equipment move without passengers or service attendants. The train included one coach, one baggage, 3 Chateaux, 3 Manors, 5 diners, and one Park car. No Skyline domes. 1. Departing Vancouver station. 2. Is this the first VIA #12 since December 16, 1994 when the last eastbound Atlantic ran from Montreal, across Maine USA and onto Saint John and Halifax? :) It would have had a similar consist of F40s, Coaches, Skyline, Diner, Cheateau Sleepers and a Park Car.
