Here's a nother "found slide" from a recent scanning session.  Something I had forgotten all about, but caused me to do a double take when I was leafing through the pages of slides.

My notes say this is train 406 (a number now used for the Moncton-Saint John trains) at Armdale, heading to downtown Halifax from Rockingham Yard.  I had seen this train come in earlier in the morning west of the yard, but totally blew the exposure.  Luckily I got a second crack at it here.  As I recall, the Budd coach had been set out in a siding the day before by the Ocean (I don't recall whether it was the eastbound or westbound train) because of brake problems.  406 had picked it up on its way east, and it would be dropped at the VIA station where repairs could be made.
