Tunnel Tuesday

A few images taken June 2008 of the short tunnel at mile 125.6 on the BC Rail Squamish sub. This tunnel and the "dry slide" just north of the tunnel had a speed restriction of "15 mph unless track is seen to be clear", if the track was clear of rocks etc the preceeding track speed would apply.

I usually crept through this area at 10 mph until seen to be clear. The lake is deep and the water is cold.
