Canadian Railroads > Heritage Paint in the Canyons (Finally)Date: 07/20/20 15:17 Heritage Paint in the Canyons (Finally) Author: cp1400 It seems the moon and the comets lined up in perfect harmony the other day. This one either slipped through the cracks or CP finally relented on SD70ACus leading trains on the mainline west of Calgary. Heritage painted 7019 leads train 301 through the Thompson and Fraser Canyons. Lets hope we see another ACu leading before Neowise comet makes its next appearance! (Which is supposed to be in 6,800 years!)

8. Martinson. July 19, 2020 14:05 9. Departing Boston Bar at Anderson River Bridge July 19, 2020 14:48. CP has had a moratorium on these units leading on their mailine west of Calgary for a couple of months now. Everywhere else seemed to be getting great consists with these ACUs except the faithful on the west coast had been shut out of the party. Lets hope the problems are being solved and many more of these venture out west. All pictures are on CN track in the directional running zone west of Ashcroft BC. cp1400 Edited 1 time(s). But it has done so twice now -- same unit came out to the coast on a 201 on July 12. It is slated to return in a grain train today, but such plans can change. Edited 1 time(s). There's high water everywhere. Several areas in the interior of BC are still flooded. I don't know if I've heard a confident explanation for why these units weren't allowed out west. Can someone who knows the accurate story explain that for me please? Date: 07/21/20 05:14 Re: Heritage Paint in the Canyons (Finally) Author: texchief1 Excellent shots!s
