Any idea of date and what's with the yellow cars?

I think the printer took liberties with the colours in the consist, engine, cars yellow, they just wanted a postcard of a train at the tunnels.

The view last fall, the trees have grown!  The tunnel(s) opened in 1909.

Looks like you'd need about 50 guys with chain saws to make much of a dent in that!
