Canadian Railroads > GO Trains to Niagara Falls are backDate: 08/01/20 18:05 GO Trains to Niagara Falls are back Author: DrawingroomA Today is the first day there has been passenger rail service between Toronto and Niagara Falls in over four months. As recently as a week ago a public relations representative for GO, in answer to a question about this service, said it was unknown when the week-end service would resume.
Just a few days ago GO announced that the train service would commence today. There will be four round-trips every Saturday, Sunday and holiday. The 19:16 departure from Niagara Falls was so busy an extra train was provided at 20:00. There were 4 trains on Sat, Sun & Holidays and it was reported above (top post) that GO had to run a extra train due to the number of passengers on Sat evening. Cars also have bike racks. GO also operates hourly double-decks buses from Niagara Falls that connect into the Lakeshore route trains in Burlington. Edited 5 time(s). Last edit at 08/04/20 10:34 by ghCBNS. |
