Canadian Railroads > MLW Monday in the SnowDate: 08/10/20 04:43 MLW Monday in the Snow Author: cn6218 On January 12, 1997 M-420Ws 3574 and 3538 were working local 507 out of Rockingham yard. The crew had taken a single flatcar (almost invisible in the fresh snow) out to Windsor Jct., turned it on the wye, and were now heading to Dartmouth on this very crisp morning.

Date: 08/10/20 12:57 Re: MLW Monday in the Snow Author: TCnR Well that's a new excuse for a train ride on a pretty winter day. I guess you have to load the flatcar from only one side? Or maybe just clear off the rail and check the switches?
Either way, great photo of interesting locomotives, t4p. Then again maybe it was a "make work" project for the crew to make their minimum 100 miles for the day.
