Canadian Railroads > MLW Monday - K-200

In February 1987 I made an ill-advised trial of the then new Kodachrome 200 film. - Unfortunately, it turned out to be some very bad film which resulted in grainy "B-" images.

Here, M-630 717 leads a #14 towards a meet with the northbound Squamish-Lillooet Wayfreight behind M-630W 732 and RS-18 623 at Pemberton.
The southbound had his remotes on the head end (in the form of an M-420 and M-420B). On the wayfreight, you can see the first of a fairly large cut of CN Boxes that were in the consist that day.

Worked with the image in PhotoShop Elements for a couple of minutes, the Auto-Sharpen cleans it right up. Great composition and very worthy paint schemes in there. Really like the drama of the forest background. Don't see many photos from downtown Pemberton, although the recent Google street view shows a lot of changes to that whole area.

I'd sharpened it up in PE as well - the original is grainy as hell and of course, the color (the red in particular) neededd to be adjusted also)...(-:
