Canadian Railroads > A Prairie Geep - JLCX 2100Date: 09/17/20 18:07 A Prairie Geep - JLCX 2100 Author: fredstoltz Today, we find EMD GP-10 JLCX 2100, waiting for the next C.P. train of empty hopper to load, at the Gardiner Dam Grain Terminal, near Strongfield Sk. JLCX 2100, is the original MILW GP-9 #2405. This unit has changed reporting marks, several times, before its current owner & number, JLCX 2100. Unit is in great shape, considering it was originally built in 1954. Fred

If you want to see it when it was a real Frankenstein unit, Google HABX 6871 and check out how the forward part of the unit looked while it served as rail grinder train power. The present unit still has the tip of it's nose with the slant at the top left over from it's HABX days.
