In its previous life it was classified GR-420b. G = General Motors, R = Road Switcher, Y = Yard. 4 = number of axles, 30 = 3000 HP, a = batch number. How are they getting 3000 HP out of a non-turbo 645? I don't see a turbo exhaust stack but I do see a paper air filter box. Date: 09/25/20 16:08 Re: CN 7600 mother and slug 600 Tacoma WA Author: steelhorse I think they are ECO engines with flared radiators and three fans. Maybe it is a 12 Cylinder ECO if its 3000 HP? CP's GP20C-ECO's are 2000 HP with 8 Cylinders.

Link to a Steve Carter drone shot that shows a turbo exhaust retro fitted into the top of the air filter box and the original 38-2 exhaust stack locations plated over. And looking at the antenna farm on the cab roof. PTC and Belt Pack Remote equipped unit? Yuck. Just an opinion; relax.
