Canadian Railroads > 120 Under Clouds and Then SunDate: 09/26/20 07:33 120 Under Clouds and Then Sun Author: cn6218 On September 16, with 120 running late (as usual) and the "promise" of sunny skies, I drove up to Amherst to try and intercept them. Although it was sunny in Halifax, the clouds quickly appeared beyond Truro, so my first shot at Oxford Jct. was under less than ideal conditions, just before noon. The fall colour is just getting started here, although it's not yet rivaling the intensity of those new LED signals.
Working my way back towards Halifax, I stopped at Hilden (just south of Truro) for the "red barn" shot, as the clouds cleared a bit at 13:42. The final shot for this train was the old reliable Bedford Quarry overhead view at 14:45. GTD |
