June 1971 at Canfield Junction a C&O westbound on the double track NYC / PC CASO sub, the train is just about at the diamond of the CN Dunnville sub and I was standing on the shoulder of the CN Cayuga sub.  The small shack used to be a trainorder office, not in use then and my friend (CN employee) was able to use his CN switch key to open the well worn NYC switch padlock on the door, we would listen on the dispatcher phone and perhaps hear of what trains were coming. Those days, nobody seemed to question why or what we were doing hanging around the tracks.
It's all gone now.
