Canadian Railroads > Storm Light for 121Date: 10/15/20 04:49 Storm Light for 121 Author: cn6218 Here's an archive shot from May 20, 2001, as 121 leaves Halifax at 19:30 one evening. It looks like I was lucky enough to have the sun sink down under the clouds by the time the train was ready to leave.
If CN washed their diesels more often, it could almost have been taken this year, since Dash-9 2590 and at least some of the GE cowls are still on the roster. To someone more familiar with the scene however, the Ultramar gas station is now a farmers' market, the marina and park on the other side of the causeway was only starting to be built, and there were almost NO weeds growing next to the tracks.
