CN releases press photo of heritage locomotives

November 17, 2020, marks 25 years since the Government of Canada privatized CN.

CN released a photo of the their President and CEO standing in front of their heritage locomotives.

CN states that $1000 of CN stock in 1995 is now worth $63,000.

Weird how the press release doesn't mention acquring the DMIR/BLE.. Or did that acquisition happen differently than the others somehow?

I don't often look at the Canadian Railroads page (I should do it more!), but this is a great image and made my day.  Despite all the noise still lingering from H.H. days, they do run an operation a nation and an industry can be proud of.

Aw shucks. I had hoped they would do a unit in the two-tone green scheme. One of the best in North American railroading, IMHO.

One thing I wish they had done differently is not use Arial as the font, for example in BC Rail. You can tell it's Arial by the "R". Cheapens the whole thing.
