Transport Canada orders historic improvements in work/rest rules

Transport Canada has announced significant changes in work/rest rules.

Freight railways have 30 months to implement the rule changes.
Passenger operations have 48 months.

12 hour limit, 10 hours rest home and away.  6 consecutive starts IE going to work with in 24 hours of off duty, get 48 hours off 7 starts only allowable as return from away from home terminal gets 72 hours off duty. 
276-HOUR MONTHLY CAP
and a 30 hour cap on limbo time IE time spent over 12 hours onduty
