Same Place, Same Trains plus 48 Hours.

902 on the point. The 2020 Holiday Season has finally come to an end.  In past years my next line would have been..."and life returns to normal."  This of course does not apply this year, kid will not be going back to school tomorrow, nor will people be going back to their offices and other places of work especially if they are in retail.  The trains will have roughly  the same consists but with fewer travellers on board. I'm still grateful that I still go out and shot photos of trains but I look forward to having friends along to share our passion of trains.

Photo 1: VIA No.59 arrives at Fallowfield station and greeted by an empty parking lot, the car in the photo is parked in car-share spot. Power on tonight's train is a pair of P42 with unwrapped 902 on the point. The few waiting passengers board quickly and the train departs. January 3rd, 2021. Ottawa, ON

Photo 2: Tonight 's No.46 had a unwrapped F40 but the same consist as the last two evenings.  The engine drew automobiles like a magnet with no one leaving their parking spot until after the train start to move.  Oh well, I guess in 50 years from now someone will see this photo and say, "my mom had a red Camry" or "my grandfather had a white SUV like that".  January 3rd, 2021. Hilarious and prescient closing comments, Gerry! Like all the film I wasted roster shooting 5" stripe SDs on CP.
