Canadian Railroads > CP baldwin

I photographed this Baldwin switcher in Toronto in 1979. Does anyone know its disposition? I don't have a Canadian Guide at the moment.

Looks like one of the 7070 series DS 4-4-1000 switchers.
Several saw use on Vancouver Island, especially on log trains from Lake Cowichan to Ladysmith.
They were the first diesels on Vancouver Island to have MU capability.
Later the DRS 4-4-1000 units (8000 - 8012) were given MU capability as well.

CP Baldwin's DS-4-4-1000 #7070 and #7072 were the last to be retired in 1982. #7069 was saved and is part of a private collection - possibly shown!

7069 was once privately owned but now is owned by the Toronto Railway Historical Association and housed at the Toronto Railway Museum in the former CP John Street roundhouse.

As for 7072, at least one of its numberboard stencils lives on.

Is this the same locomotive ?? I'm thinking I took this image in the Toronto area during a trip to Ontario late 1981 or 1982.
