Canadian Railroads > Just so Canadian!

It`s a frigid day in March 1981 as a GO train rumbles across the bridge over the Credit River in Port Credit, Ontario. The kids playing hockey on their patch of ice which they had no doubt just shovelled out are oblivious to the passing train. Their dreams of playing in the NHL have just started.

A nice slice of life in Canada in 1981.

Well done. This is the first winter photo I have seen at this location.

Cool shot, literally and critically. 

I rode those cars when they were leased to MBTA. Probably the worst ride quality of any cars I've ridden in North America. 

But a neat pic, nonetheless. 

I was expecting to see a photo of The Canadian, not those bumpy GO Carts !

I rode them 4 times between Toronto and North Bay, including a trip to Cochrane. They would vibrate your kidneys loose if over 30MPH, and your teeth would chatter over every switch. They have Toronto subway car trucks and cinder blocks for shock absorbers.
