Canadian Railroads > Meet Me at Folly LakeDate: 01/11/21 12:47 Meet Me at Folly Lake Author: cn6218 The two Oceans (VIA 14 and 15) would often meet at Folly Lake if 14 was running a bit late. June 30, 2007 was one of those days, and 15 got there first, so their head end crew is on both sides of the main line to give 14 a roll-by. After exchanging pleasantries on the radio, 15's crew was back in the cab and the train proceeded out of the siding and on towards Moncton, NB. Revelstoke Park was on the tail end of the Ren consist this particular day. The "last spike" was driven near the other end of the siding in c.1875, completing the segment of the ICR between Truro, NS and Moncton.
