Canadian Railroads > February 14 HappeningsDate: 02/19/21 03:58 February 14 Happenings Author: cn6218 Valentines Day in Halifax was one of those typical gloomy winter days, but did have a couple events of note.
Due to a backlog of containers to go west, 407 ran out of Rockingham instead of Dartmouth, shown here just after noon in Bedford. The two older GEs were putting out a bit of a smoke screen as the hogger accelerated towards Bedford Hill. The GEVOs behind were much better behaved. Just as the gloom was turning to dusk, 120 finally arrived in town with a surprise. GTW "heritage" SD70M-2 was second out in the consist, and actually looked quite radiant compared to the regular black and orange paint. GTD |
