Canadian Railroads > A Dash-9 in Fresh PaintDate: 05/07/21 07:44 A Dash-9 in Fresh Paint Author: cn6218 CN's first order of Dash-9s, 2500-2522, have suffered from badly fading and peeling paint on the cabs. A few have had the cabs repainted, but 2502, shown here at Moirs Mills in Nova Scotia, on May 26, 2008, has had the long hood repainted too, leading me to believe that perhaps it was wrecked at some point and needed major work. It was leading the even older, and more faded, Dash 8-40CM 2402 and an unidentified SD75I along what was once the shoreline of Bedford Basin, until a large infilling project created a marina and park.
