Mid Morning Intermodal at Windsor Jct., NS
Author: cn6218

CN train 136 is rolling through Windsor Jct., at the prescribed 45 mph, on November 17, 2001, with SD75I 5666 leading SD50F 5406 and an anonymous Dash 8-40CM.

The train is on the alignment of the former south track (eastward main) here, although it will be on the north track in a few hundred more yards.  The weed covered track in the foreground is the interchange track where CN could leave cars for the WHRC, while the track in the middle is the east leg of the wye, and former DAR main line, connecting to the Bedford Sub at mile 15.7, just ahead of the train.

Today the station sign is gone, the mainline switch at 15.7 has been removed, and it's getting difficult to see the church steeple with all the tree growth, but at least half a dozen trains roll through each day, headed to or from Halifax and Dartmouth.
