Thanksgiving weekend down east
Author: newtonville150

Starting on Saturday 9th October.
1. At 08:23, 120 by Thomson Station, MP 42.5, Springhill sub 616 axles, 4+0 power, CN 2285, CN 2299, CN 2289, CN 2605.
Royally screwed by clouds at show time, but saved somewhat in editing.
2. I caught an all intermodal train 407 out of Rockingham, headed for Moncton at Springhill Junction @ 14:58.
388 axles, CN 2321 & CN5763..  Usually 407 is a regular manifest freight out of Dartmouth which frequently lifts cars from thr CB&CNS yard in Truro.

After taking Sunday off, I returned trackside today.
3.  October 11th 2021 @ 12:47. Second 120 of the morning at Oxford Junction. CN 2250 and CN 2342. Detector at Thomeon Station said 448 axles.
