Spadina Scene - Mid 1972
Author: refarkas

Like a small flock of sheep, four MLW locomotives and one ALCO locomotive huddle together at CN's Spadina Yard in Toronto in mid-June 1972.

Yes those were the days, when you could just go to the office and sign a waiver.  Next week VIA will hold a press conference here in Ottawa introducing their new Siemens trains set, I wonder how close I will be able to get.  Different time I guess.

I never saw one of the older switchers (Blunt trucks) run on CN. By 1977, I think all that remained was the partial 8139 at Spadina.
