Hello folks,
A calm day in Kamloops today and a very calm North Thompson River.
CN Train 117 departs westbound towards Vancouver.
Not everyday is a mirror opportunity with the river, but not bad today.
Time is 0830k. Train had 2 units and a total of 480 axles for this unit container train.

We see a lift bridge; but the water on the other side of the trestle appears shallow.

Is the North Thompson River navigable?

Thanks for the positive comments.
The Lift Bridge portion does not lift and the bridge and track are straight through.
Small boats do use the river and right now it is in the spring low water condition.
