Canadian Railroads > 15 Years AgoDate: 05/09/22 04:31 15 Years Ago Author: cn6218 It's May 9, 2007, and 2435 is leading CN train 120 towards mile 9 of the Bedford Sub. Behind the Dash-8 cowl there appears to be a US-built SD40-2 and then one of CN's SD75Is.
The north track had been taken out of service almost 4 years earlier, and CN was in the process of upgrading the remaining main line from 100 lb. relay rail (from the Kingston Sub) to new 115 lb. CWR. The old rails and broken ties were sitting where the north track had once been. GTD Date: 05/13/22 16:30 Re: 15 Years Ago Author: feclark That's a really nice shot in a very cluttered spot! I did like the look of those GEs.
