This train had mechanical problems and I first encountered it in the siding at Springhill Junction about an hour earlier. Z120 was very close behind Q120, but I didn't hear it pass the defect detector 4 miles east of here until I was pulling into my driveway in Springhill. May 9th 2022 @ 14:56, CN L5071109's lead unit ES44DC CN 2244 stops just short of the shadows by the Onion House at Oxford Jct NS. Having taken the siding to meet VIA 14. At 15:29 the short 132 axle train regains the mainline an continues its journey to Moncton NB and is on the switch with the CN 2244 leading SD75I CN 5700. Finally we see CN 5700 just west of the Colburne Road grade crossing. Don't ask about my botched attempt at a pan shot of the VIA train! ...John Reay Springhill NS Edited 4 time(s).
