Those characters on the letterboard of the GO Cart's food service car must mean something to somebody. 

Its " CREE" native language, no idea the translation.
Of late those cars were used on the Polar Bear Express to Moosinee Ontario.
Rebuilt Ex Go Transit coaches as I recall !

Nice catch Mike. Every time I see a ONR unit, it seems to have a different colour scheme.

CTG shows it as originally GO 4728 when built in 1967,and later GO 9928 and 1028. Acquired in 1985 by Ontario Northland as ONT 600 and renumbered 651 in 2017.

Could someone explain what GIO in "GIO Rail" stands for?

Nice to catch ONR stuff 10 minutes from home .
They like to change their paint schemes. ONR bought a pair of ex-NS SD70ac's, they are running in NS black!

I thought GIO might Government Intervention Ontario...........
