Two rare Nova Scotia visitors
Author: newtonville150

The were a number of railfans chasing CN Q123 out of Halifax today, and no wonder.
Lead unit was as-delivered Illinois Central standard cab SD70 1028, followed by CN 2678
and BNSF 4314 trailing with a well loaded 286 axle train.

July 22nd 2022 @ 13:05, CN Q123 by Springhill Jct. NS.
Chased and shot again @ 13:41 at Fort Lawrence, NS,
just short of the New Brunswick border.

Looks like you got the whole train and some sunshine at Ft. Lawrence.  Well done!

123 goes to Chicago.

Cool consist! After all the bright orange hoopla in earlier days I really liked this paint scheme which the IC settled down with...
