Canadian Railroads > CP Days Gone ByDate: 08/29/22 07:18 CP Days Gone By Author: train1275 Westbound CP van from the Route 112 overpass at Stukley Sud, Quebec back in May 1987.
This is between Sherbrooke, QC and Montreal. Chased this guy west from somewhere out towards Bury or Cookshire if I recall, and I think he had a 4700 series leading. Sorry I can't find the coming on shot but this is a scene of days gone by nonetheless. Anyone know what the extent of the CP track rehab is, and how the work is coming out this way ? CP 251 West of Magog, QC (trainorders.com) The view to the west is virtually gone, turned into a tree tunnel. CP has installed a lot of welded rail since they bought the property back, and in some places has also cleared vegetation on both sides of the track, just not here. GTD |
