Canadian Railroads > MLW Passenger Excursion on the CBNSDate: 09/05/22 14:03 MLW Passenger Excursion on the CBNS Author: cn6218 A little more than 25 years ago, when the MLWs still ruled the Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia Railway, the shortline ran their first excursion train. The June 8, 1997 trip ran from Truro to Stellarton and return, and featured C-630M 2003, three rented VIA coaches, and the road's ex-CN van, 1000. At the end of the day, the train is shown arriving back in the Truro Yard, near Gaspar Crossing.
