Double-Stacks on NB Southern
Author: cn6218

With increased traffic across Maine, NB Southern has added another daily pair of trains, and turned 907/908 into exclusively intermodal trains.  On the evening of September 2, 2022, 907 was rolling through Vespra, NB.  According to my 1979 CP Time Table, Vespra once had a 2911 ft. siding, but now it's just a crossing in the woods between Fredericton Jct. and Harvey, NB.  This was the same power, minus the GP40-3, we'd seen on 207 almost a week earlier.  New NBSR Train (trainorders.com)

Neat to see something that was pretty much cast aside to fail, coming back as a successful venture! Good on CP and NBSR for making a go of this.

Great shot, and nice to get the conventional cab leading (maybe not for the crew).
