Brush Clearing
Author: cn6218

Once every two years or so, CN seems to get serious about removing lineside vegetation in the Halifax area.  Up for attention this year was the Bedford Sub, between Windsor Jct. and downtown. Here is Z120 at Moirs Mills, first on August 20th and then September 15th of this year.  Unfortunately, the Japanese Knotweed is regenerating itself very quickly, with some fresh growth visible already.  The little birch trees here will hopefully take longer to grow back.

Ah yes, Japanese Knotweed, the scourge of Springhill.
Thankfully none around Springhill Junction.

I believe in the U.K. you must disclose "infestation" when selling a property as it's almost impossible
to eradicate. It propagates by root spreading and those can damage building foundations.
