Bob Date: 11/21/22 13:04 Re: Thirty Or More Years Old - CP 1501 Author: feclark In case you're wondering what the logo is below the radiator shutters, CP put these on some yard units for Agincourt Yard to mark 'Toronto Yard 25 CP Rail'. This earlier Geep rebuild was done with Multimark (5/86 photo), lost that and gained the logo you see in the photo, and the logo was gone by 7/97 (photo).

Bob, thanks once again for posting a great photo. 1501 was rebuilt from former CPR GP7 8409 that was built by GMDD London, ON. Gerry Gaugl Ottawa ON Date: 11/22/22 13:24 Re: Thirty Or More Years Old - CP 1501 Author: feclark feclark Wrote:

On the left is 1964, on the right of the 25 is 1989, both horizontal, rather than wrapping around the broken circle. Fred |
