MLW Monday - CN FPA-4 Threading the Turnouts at the Falls
Author: feclark

On April 29, 1978, CN 6772 is in charge of #43, Ottawa to Toronto, as it threads the turnouts on arrival at 1025. Trailing power is an unidentified VIA-painted F9B and a CN RS-10. The train has come up the steep connector with CN's Smiths Falls Sub, and has several tracks to cross at the west yard throat of Smiths Falls, to gain the station on the south side. Mileage on the signal likely applies to the CP Belleville Sub, to Toronto. This train will use CP's Brockville Sub to that city, then the CN Kingston Sub to Toronto.
