Freight Car Friday - Canada Starch Tank Car
Author: feclark

On April 9, 1977, Canada Starch Company (Casco) tank car CCLX 402 was rolling up to Nepean Junction (west side of Bells Corners, near Ottawa) in the consist of CN #302, at 1450. It was so pretty and old school, I had to shoot it. I love the 3-digit number, by the way.

Glad you shot it.  Great looking old style tank with nice lettering.

Looking at the platform around the dome I don't think the car is that old. I'm thinking built in the 1960's?

Definitely looks "old school" like tank cars I rewmember seeing as a kid in the 1950's.
Thanks for your interesting posting.
