I remember being around those things years ago. I SAID, I REMEMBER BEING AROUND THOSE THINGS YEARS AGO!!! :-) Man! They were loud, and you could smell them a mile away. Seeing those pics reminded me of some photos I had of the Hurricanes baby sister the 'Typhoon' cold air blower. Pic 1 & 2 CN 616-52 is an Essco ECAB30 cold air blower, serial number ECAB305, built in 1994, at Canora, SK on August 6, 2022 Pic 3 CN 616-52 Essco ECAB30 cold air blower, sn ECAB305, blt 1994, at Canora, SK March 18, 2023 Date: 01/01/25 20:21 Re: Cold air snow blowers Author: poshell Here's a few more cold air blowers I snapped at various work locations over the years.
Pic 4 CN 616-57 is an Essco model ECAB30 cold air blower, serial number ECAB307, built in 1995. It's in the CN yard in Melville, SK on January 21, 2003. Pic 5 & 6 CN 616-63 is a Plasser model UYM-8L switch tamper, serial number 1719, built in1985. It has been converted to a cold air snow blower/tunnel fan. It's sitting in the Work Equipment Repair Facility yard at Kamloops, BC on January 15, 2003. |
