ALLEN Date: 01/08/25 22:31 Re: ACR at Oba, ON in the mid-1970's Author: feclark I've never seen trucks like the ones on Express Baggage 201. Any comments, details from anyone?
Fred Date: 01/09/25 08:14 Re: ACR at Oba, ON in the mid-1970's Author: poshell I posted this photo on RP.ca a while back and one of the comments references the odd-ball trucks .....
Railpictures.ca - Paul O'Shell Photo: While working on a CN tie gang back in the summer of 1976 I managed to snap this pic of AC 201 that was spliced into an Algoma Central passenger train departing Oba for Hearst, ON. Some interesting trucks under this car. | Railpictures.ca â Canadian Railway Photography â photographie ferroviaire Canadienne. It is pricey, though - one way is from $332. That is double the fare of longer flights such as to Halifax or Winnipeg. Such is the mystery of air fares.

It's pricy because you're splitting the costs among far fewer passengers, i.e. 20 vs 200. |
