Canadian Railroads > MoW Monday - CN Plow Variety, Eastern CanadaDate: 02/24/25 13:27 MoW Monday - CN Plow Variety, Eastern Canada Author: feclark As I had some plow shots out for scanning, I did these while I continue to figure out my new scanning software.
1. At CN's Walkley Yard in Ottawa, CN 55550 was sunning itself on September 3, 1987. This is the classic lighter orange colour I associate with CN's plows, although both are visible in the Borden photo in my earlier post at https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?15,5983135. 2. This was shot at Halifax, NS on December 13, 1987. CN 55434 sports the darker orange-red colour. It's a bit off because of lightening up the scan for details, I think. I'd be curious about the difference in colours, the wing configuration and plow's capacity, and so on. Fred Edited 2 time(s).
