KCS MW902
Author: Train611

Hello,

On March 5 around noon this work train was stopped at the signals just entering the CPKC yard at Kamloops BC.
It was waiting for a train ahead in the yard, and as we see a westbound coal train will enter the yard at the east end.
This is a good looking consist and I believe was heading further west of Kamloops for work.
Thanks for looking.

Neat. Your telephoto really emphasizes the sag in the frame of the cab control unit. I can't believe they didn't build it with some camber, like the old skeleton COFC flats. It looks like it just has to fatigue and fail sometime.

Interesting MoW train. Looks very similar but different than the UP equipment wandering around the Western US. Their trailing control car has a motor vehicle lift for the bosses truck.

Great pics of CPKC's MoW train. I'll be in Kamloops in a few weeks and will be looking to see if it is still in the area.

Both versions built by RELCO.
