I'm sure it will be a happy trip since the Blackhawks snagged two points in a shootout. Hopefully they make a video of it. This Habs fan really enjoyed Ivan Demidov's first assist and goal in his first NHL game, even though we only got the one point.

Based on comments from the broadcast team - the train travel will be this evening. Will have to check and see if the team posts any video of the trip on their website. It sounds like the team is travelling from Montreal to Ottawa. If that is the case, Amtrak is irrelevant. When I was a lad (don't ask but there were only six NHL teams!) it was quite common for teams and officials to travel by train, even overnight trains. I recall a scandal involving a referee. He would cash in his sleeper ticket and buy a coach ticket, keeping the difference. Don't know if thats still the case.

I went down to the station and saw a couple of extra sleepers on the rear of the train.
