VIA's Kootenay Park renamed Jasper Park

Apparently this happened this past week-end. The Park car departed Sunday on #1. I am probably not allowed to post a link, but there are photos (and much discussion!) on a well-known social media site dedicated to: VIA Rail #1/2 "The Canadian"

It would seem to make sense. As I recall, VIA planned to apply the name Jasper Park to the Rio Grande Zephyr dome sleeper observation it had acquired, though as I remember the Rio Grande had converted the bedrooms to lounge space. That having been done, I would think it would have been easier to convert the car to a Prestige Park car. VIA ended up selling that car and several other former U.S. dome cars it never used.
