Don't know about locations.  I'm far more interested in the evidence, as shown in photos one and two......the 10 car CP "Canadian", and the 20 plus car CN "Super Continental".  The two roads were, at the time, on opposite ends of the spectrum of attitude towards passenger train travel.  The diffrence could be even more dramatic, as the CN would send out seperate sections, bound for Montreal  and Toronto....on those days it would be 40 CN cars in two trains as compred to 10 CP cars, which included cars for both Toronto and Montreal.

The first picture is westbound CP train #1 The Canadian at approx mile 28 on the Cascade Sub approaching the town of Yale in the Fraser River canyon. Behind the train is the rock portal of the third of three tunnels that are RR east of Yale between mile 26 and 28. Today this scene is totally overgrown and impossible to recapture not to mention that now all trains on CPKC here are eastbound as part of the shared track arrangement with CN.

The second picture I'm not as sure of but I think from looking at Google Maps that you shot the westbound CN Super Continental from the lookout off Hwy 1 at Jackass Mountain. The train is at mile 109.2 on CN Ashcroft Sub about to enter a tunnel at mile 109.3 with Falls Creek siding one mile ahead at mile 110.2

If the link works properly, the photo was taken from a pull out near the bottom letter "y" of Trans Canada Hwy label on the map with the train in the open area in the upper center of the photo.

The last picture is a long hood forward GP9 exiting the tunnel at mile 120.0 Ashcroft Sub and launching right on to a steel bridge over Ainsle Creek. The nearest railway station is Martinson at mile 121.5

Good info on th elocations.
All well and good but there's no way to find these angles today with all the heavy forest. doesn't mean it's not fun to try to find them though. Just being near the river is spectacular by itself.

There are actually four tunnels in a 1.2-mile stretch just east of Yale. Mileages at their east portals are 24.8, 25.4, 25.8 and 26.0. The train has exited the fourth tunnel.
