Canadian Railroads > Midsummer IntermodalDate: 12/18/25 16:19 Midsummer Intermodal Author: cn6218 Tier 4 GEs 3114 and 3119, along with ex-CITI Leasing 3927 were leading Z120 across the short causeway near mile 14 of the Bedford Sub in Lakeview, NS back on June 16, 2025. The block of cars on the head end is destined for the Halifax Intermodal Terminal, even though the upper containers near the front are 40 ft. export boxes. Apparently some of these are trucked to destinations locally.

Interesting to see overseas containers atop domestic ones - all generalisations are false, yet the overseas and domestic containers tend to be in separate blocks. |
