Thanks for posting this great photo.  I remember well those short consists in the 1970s with one sleeper to/from Toronto and one and a half (the Park car being half a sleeper) to/from Montreal.

Thank you for this picture and Merry Christmas! Shorter consist, yes, but this is also when the Canadian was running daily, and there was still transcontiental CN service, I presume!
