Canadian Railroads > The Canadian cancelled again

Due to yet another CN derailment in northern Ontario, the Canadian is disrupted between Winnipeg and Toronto.  Number 2 was stuck in Armstrong since 19:38 Thursday. According to a VIA source passengers were taken by bus to Thunder Bay and flown to Toronto.   With no consist in Toronto, Sunday's train #1 has been cancelled between Toronto and Winnipeg.  It is expected to depart on Monday at its usual time.

A glitch with VIA's tracking site tsimobile shows #2 continuing east.

They can't reroute it on CP Winnipeg - Toronto, or no CP crews can qualify on a passenger train  ?

I just wish they would permanently put it back on the CPKC the entire way. Maybe then, they could shave a day off of running time and the horrible treatment that the CN gives them. Wake up VIA!
